Spaghetti Bolognese
This is a classic spag bol recipe -- best to have with garlic bread
- Pepper 1 table spoon
- Dried oregano
- Dried basil
- Onion 2 large
- Garlic 1 head
- Olive oil
- carrots 2 sticks
- Red wine 1 cup
- Mince 1kg
- Tomato paste 5 table spoons
- Chicken stock
- 2 cans whole peeled tomatos
Instructions:
- Thaw mince
- Dice onions and garlic
- Cook onions on high heat until brown then add garlic
- Sear mince, once brown can mix in
- Add salt, pepper, carrot, herbs
- When beef is cooked add tomato paste, then deglaze with red wine, then add chicken stock
- Add whole peeled tomatoes
- Reduce heat, simmer for ~1hr
