Spaghetti Bolognese

This is a classic spag bol recipe -- best to have with garlic bread

  • Pepper 1 table spoon
  • Dried oregano
  • Dried basil
  • Onion 2 large
  • Garlic 1 head
  • Olive oil
  • carrots 2 sticks
  • Red wine 1 cup

  • Mince 1kg
  • Tomato paste 5 table spoons
  • Chicken stock
  • 2 cans whole peeled tomatos

Instructions:

  1. Thaw mince
  2. Dice onions and garlic
  3. Cook onions on high heat until brown then add garlic
  4. Sear mince, once brown can mix in
  5. Add salt, pepper, carrot, herbs
  6. When beef is cooked add tomato paste, then deglaze with red wine, then add chicken stock
  7. Add whole peeled tomatoes
  8. Reduce heat, simmer for ~1hr
